[ WiSee ]
WiSee is a novel gesture recognition system that leverages wireless signals (e.g., WiFi) to enable whole-home sensing and recognition of human gestures. Since wireless signals do not require line-of-sight and can traverse through walls, WiSee can enable wholehome gesture recognition using only a few wireless sources.

[ AirWave ]
AirWave uses toroidal vortices to provide precise, at-a-distance haptic feedback that requires no physical contact or instrumentation of the human body. It can achieve spatial resolution of less than 10 cm at a distance of 2.5 meters allowing targeting specific regions of the body to provide haptic feedback.

[ SoundWave ]
SoundWave enables touch free user interface allowing users to control devices using simple in-air hand gestures. Unlike vision, SoundWave is immune to lighting conditions as this technique leverages the speaker and microphone already embedded in most commodity devices to sense in-air gestures around the device.

[ ElectriSense ]
ElectriSense provides whole home appliance-level usage data using a single, easy-to-deploy sensor. Appliance usage data combined with energy consumption enables itemized billing, that is, homeowners can know not only how much energy they use but also *where* that energy is consumed on a per-appliance level.

[ LightWave ]
LightWave can turn ordinary Compact Fluorescent Lamps into human proximity and temperature sensors. This requires no modification of the lamp at all and depends solely on measuring the change in characteristics of the electromagnetic noise produced by CFLs. Uses a single plug-in sensor similar to that used in ElectriSense.

SqueezeBlock is an electro-mechanical prototype that can convey information through tactile feedback by dynamically changing its stiffness. It does so by realizing a virtual spring.

[ InGen: Interactive Generator ]
InGen is a self-powered wireless rotary input device capable of generating haptic or force feedback without the need for any external power source. It uses a modified servomotor to for generating power for wireless communication, sensing the direction and speed of rotation, and providing force feedback during rotation.
